Last year, Taylor and I didn't dress up as anything for Halloween. I felt like a total failure because we didn't even throw anything together last minute. This year I was determined to find something cute for us to wear! I decided months before that we would be minions. Only problem is I waited til the last minute and ended up having to make almost everything for our costumes the week of Halloween, including dying our clothes twice {beanies don't take color well...}. Everything was pulled together at the last minute, and even though the silver spray paint didn't ever dry on our goggles and left paint on our faces, I think they turned out pretty cute.

^^I made cute spider cookies!^^
^^We went to papa johns with our friends that were cross dressed old people. It was so hilarious.^^
Also, we carved pumpkins. Each year, I now know it is going to be ridiculous to even try to think of making it a challenge between Tay & I because he will win. Every. Time. But that's okay, because he does create some pretty awesome pumpkins! He didn't even carve this one through. I mean. He is just so talented & creative!
 ^^I carved spiderman.^^
^^Tay carved his brother, Mikey. So cool!^^

I feel like since my birthday is in October I can say it is my favorite month of the year and actually mean it.. And I do mean it. There is something about the crisp air that makes me feel energized. It also gives me a bit of anxiety thinking about all of the brutally cold months ahead that promise winter. Those months I am not fond of. I don't like to think about how cold my house gets and how I can't sleep without four blankets and sweats. I am going to enjoy the last of this perfect weather before the cold sets in and I turn to hibernation for four months.

My 22nd birthday was perfect. I always love it when my birthday is on conference Sunday because I have an excuse to sit in bed in my pajamas all day and I get to listen to the prophet's voice! nothing is better than that. Plus, there is always delicious food involved. So I mean it's basically the best day of the year. This year had the most perfect fall weather, a nice break from the rain that usually occurs. We played cornhole in the backyard with my family and ate salmon for dinner. I got super spoiled and Tay set up my gifts so cute. He is just the best. I always feel so loved and blessed on my birthday.
^^Smile! One... Two... *Tay DIPS! ^^
