Weekly Update

1:: Anytime Olive talks I will say what! In a high voice, and she started saying it around the house. She will say 'ahtt? all the time and it is the cutest thing ever. 2:: The one food I have found Olive to not be fond of is broccoli. When I give her pieces she gets this weird look on her face. I think it's a texture thing. 3:: On Sunday I was in the kitchen and I looed over and Olive was on the third stair. I walked over to see what she would do and she climbed to the top of our stairs like she'd done it a million times. I was so shocked and she was so proud! Now anytime she sees the stairs she bolts up them. So far she has such great balance, but I still need to get a baby gate. 4:: She has started standing by herself sometimes. I will notice it and once she does too she will get down, but she's getting braver. 5:: We went to bear lake for the day and she LOVED it. She wouldn't sleep on the way up, but she was actually really happy the whole day. She could have played in the dirt and water carrying her stick all day.

Weekly Update

1:: Olive loves to unplug things in the house. Whenever she is in my room she goes right to my lamp and unplugs it. 2:: She also can't stand when these shape outlines are on her toy. She beelines it straight to take them off no matter where she is. 3:: She also has learned how to click the switch to our power strip which turns off our internet. I had no idea why it wasn't working until Taylor saw it was turned off. 4:: She gives high fives and will do eskimo kisses with Taylor by rubbing her forhead into yours. 5:: She is the VERY BEST right now! Such a good girl, amazing sleeper, I just can't get enough of her.

Weekly Update

1:: Olive got her first little cut on her knee. She kneeled on one of those black paper clips and her knee was bleeding pretty good. I had to put bandaids on it because it would get worse when she crawled, but she just wanted to pull it off the whole time. 2:: She can give high-fives when you hold out your hand. 3:: She is obsessed with sticks! We have a little light saber and a stick that belongs to one of her wooden toys, and when she finds those she will carry it all around wherever she goes. She loves sticks outside too. 4:: She can point to her eye, nose, and we are working on ears. She points to it on me too. She touches her actual eye and her finger goes up her nose every time, but we are getting there. 5:: She loves dogs. She will whine at them and want to follow them all around. But when she gets close to them she isn't so sure.

Weekly Update

1:: Olive loves the water. She doesn't really like being in a floaty, just being held and standing in the shallow water. She also LOVED the splash pad where the waterfall was coming out. She kept trying to eat the red rock. 2:: She was a good girl in St. George. She slept in nana and grandpa's closet and took good naps too. 3:: She has started clapping instead of just hitting her leg when she tries to clap. 4:: She says dada all day long. Her little voice is the cutest. 5:: She has a patch of hair that is longer and I stand it up so it looks like she actually has some. ; )
